The blue dial of the Meistersinger Pangaea has a fine sunburst finish that creates a soft, iridescent light effect. The hour marks are optically lengthened towards the middle; the curving serif typeface helps give the watch its visual lightness.

The elegant, slender stainless steel case of the Pangaea Day Date is 40 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The movement can be easily viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task.

he Swiss Sellita SW300 automatic movement, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches, quietly ticks inside the Pangaea. At midnight, the date switches to the next day at lightning speed. The rotor supplies the automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

MeisterSinger makes watches for people who know just what is important to them. All they need is a long, single hand that displays both the hours and the minutes; seconds are not important to them, although the current date is quite another matter.

That’s why MeisterSinger has revised one of its most successful models, the Pangaea, and equipped it with a date display that reflects the design concept of the watch. The MeisterSinger design language is based on historical instruments with a rigorously objective look, but also on the faces of early pocket watches, especially those that needed nothing more than a single, slender hand. The Pangaea, the most elegant model among the MeisterSinger classics, is also part of this tradition.
